16:10 - 17:30 Acrylic Paint Experience

*Melissa Dale from Dale-ightful Bakes will be delivering some delicious space cupcakes - home made from Hartley Wintney. Cake and refreshment included in all ticket options. 

Astronomy Experience:

Sit back and enjoy hearing all about our closest celestial neighbour, the Moon. A chance to see some beautiful close up images of the Moon taken by spacecraft, learn about all the surface features that you will be painting for yourself and explore the science behind the space missions to the Moon launching from Earth in the near future. All brought to you by Astronomy expert, Dr Sarah Crick. Sarah will be there for the whole workshop so you will have a chance to ask your space questions to Sarah and have them answered while you paint! We even have an actual piece of the Moon to show you too! This is a session not to be missed! You will also receive a QR code that will take you to more Astronomy resources from Sarah online.

Moonlight Mission Acrylic Paint Experience:

Join us for the perfect blend of astronomy and creativity through the art of ZenStrokes. Let your brushes dance freely on the canvas while you paint the moon within a beautiful mountainous landscape reflecting against the ocean. There will be flexible guidance available on the day or feel free to create a background of your choice.

Your paint experience will include the following:

• High quality paint brushes
• Vibrant acrylic paint colours (available to take home if you don’t finish)
• An A4 canvas brimming with possibilities
• A palette for your unique blends
• Step by step guide with image of painting

- No prior painting experience is required

- Guidance age for the session: 9+

- You will be offered an optional apron to protect your clothing

- Farrah will be on hand for guidance and any questions

- Please arrive 15 minutes before the session start time to get settled
